The twin of it walked the runway for the Spring 1987 Haute Couture presentation and my client ordered this identical dress from that show

with hand applied leather & suede applique work that has also been hand painted

She came back with sketchbooks filled from her travels there that became the foundation for her 1979 'Chinese Square' print and then carried over to the Spring 1980 collection with this print that she calls 'Chinese Constructivist & Clouds'.
