1950s Silk Satin Rosette Cocktail Dress designer-jean-louis-scherrer There is so much fabricHere we have a truly beautiful little piece with no label in the most lovely of blues the camera did not quite capture the correct tone in person it is more of a deep cornflower blue and I think the new owner will be very pleased with it when they see it up close. It is well constructed and cut to follow a girl's curves but not in an overtly sexual kind of way. The bodice is a curving and simple expanse of silk satin that is cut to cross and wrap over
