I have played with the idea of what these icons may have represented to the people who created them and what kind of relationship they had with nature at the time

This painting was showcased as part of my exhibition 'filtergarden' at Molotow Helsinki in June 2025 which explored ideas of beauty and imperfection through flower themed paintings

This painting is contemplating the passing of time and the overlapping of different sections of time in a single image
